After many years of searching, Wallingford Accessible Boat Club has finally dropped anchor in the heart of town, opening its permanent base at Riverside, Wallingford.
The new accessible pontoon—specially designed for WABC’s custom-built Wheelyboat — WOW-one— was officially declared open, creating a new gateway to the River Thames.
John Jenkins MBE said, “after many years operating from temporary facilities, we finally have a home in central Wallingford. We’re so grateful to SODC and all our incredible supporters.”
